Vendor Terms & Conditions Agreement

Welcome to Locoshop.in, a platform that enables local sellers to connect with nearby buyers. By registering as a vendor, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before continuing.
1. Vendor Eligibility
To become a vendor on Locoshop.in, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age

Own or operate a legitimate local business

Provide accurate and up-to-date store details

Accept and comply with these terms
2. Account Setup and Management

Vendors must create a complete store profile with a valid phone number, address, and business name.

Vendors are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of their product listings, pricing, and inventory.

Any misuse, fraudulent behavior, or attempt to mislead buyers will result in suspension or termination.
3. Product Listings

Vendors must only list products that are legal, genuine, and permitted under Indian law.

Descriptions, images, and pricing must be accurate and not misleading.

Counterfeit or prohibited items are strictly forbidden.
4. Order Fulfillment

Vendors must fulfill orders promptly and accurately.

Self-delivery or third-party delivery must be timely and respectful of buyer schedules.

Cancellation or delays without valid reason may lead to penalties or suspension.
5. Payments and Commissions

Vendors agree to the commission rate or monthly fees outlined during onboarding.

Payments will be settled to the vendor’s bank account or wallet within [X] days after order completion.

All financial data provided must be correct for successful payouts.
6. Refunds and Returns

Vendors are expected to honor refund and return requests as per Locoshop’s return policy.

Products that are defective, expired, or incorrect must be accepted back or replaced.

Refusal to process valid return requests can result in penalties or account action.
7. Compliance with Laws
Vendors are responsible for:

All taxes, licenses, GST compliance, and local business laws

Ensuring their business follows applicable regulations for food safety, health, electronics, etc.

Uploading legal documents (PAN, GST, etc.) during onboarding, if required
8. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:

Attempting to bypass the platform’s payment or order system
-
Listing banned products (drugs, weapons, fake goods)

Harassment of buyers or misuse of buyer information
-
Using Locoshop to redirect customers to external sales channels
9. Data and Privacy

Vendor and buyer data must be kept secure and confidential.

Vendors may only contact customers for order fulfillment, not for promotions unless permitted.

Use of customer data outside the platform is prohibited.
10. Termination of Account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any vendor account for:

Breach of these terms

Repeated order issues, poor customer service

Fake listings or fraudulent activity
The vendor can also request account closure at any time by contacting support@locoshop.in.
11. Limitation of Liability
Locoshop.in is a marketplace platform and does not own or control vendor businesses.
We are not liable for:

Product defects or disputes between vendor and buyer

Losses arising due to business interruption or third-party issues
12. Modifications
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Vendors will be notified of major changes via email or dashboard notifications.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This agreement is governed by the laws of [Your State, India].
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Your City].
